Application Engineering Manager, Platform Engineering, ServiceNow

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications.

• Lead and manage a team and serve as its executive technical authority.
• Drive engineering delivery through participation in design reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning, ensuring solutions.
• Advocate the ServiceNow Center of Excellence (CoE), partner on strategy and roadmap.
• Be responsible for building a new capability from the ground-up, ensuring the ServiceNow platform is utilized to its capabilities.
• Serve as the team's executive technical authority and guide best practices and make final architectural decisions.
• Recruit, interview, and hire technical talent to build the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience in software engineering or enterprise application development.
• 5 years of experience in managing engineers.
• Experience with ServiceNow platform including SPM/PPM/CSM applications, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and platform scripting (e.g., JavaScript, GlideAPIs).
• Experience with reviewing codes and configurations, and contributing to architectural decisions.
• Experience in managing implementation partners or professional services vendors.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical ideas to the team and executive stakeholders.
• Experience with ServiceNow platform including SPM/PPM/CSM applications, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and platform scripting (e.g., JavaScript, GlideAPIs).
• Experience with reviewing codes and configurations, and contributing to architectural decisions.
• Experience in managing implementation partners or professional services vendors.
